September 2023 2nd Preview: Gallia reinforcements!

Good afternoon fellow Gallians,

In today's preview we will see the second set of miniatures coming to Highlands Miniatures for this September 2023 Release: the Gallia Knights on Pegasus.

It has been quite a challenge to design these Knights on Pegasus miniatures, to be honest. To represent the wild nature of the pegasus I decided to give them proper barding just in the front, leaving the back legs free of any burden.

The clothing of the main Knights is longer than usual, specially in the helmet, to represent the dynamism of the flying figures. The idea with these knights, as with the rest of the Knights os Gallia and any other future knight, is that the helmets are all modular, and you can also use any of the available Knights in these pegasus.

As you will see below, there are three alternative miniatures for the Knigths on Pegasus that come as command group.

Finally, I have been thinking a lot about how to improve the sturdiness of the miniatures, to ensure that you can play safely with these miniatures without risks of breaking them while painting, trainsporting or playing with them. For that purpose, I decided to not use the classic flying stands as they do not provide enough sturdiness if printed in resin. This is not plastic, so small resin joints in the back legs of the pegasus will eventually break. Therefore, the main bodies of the pegasus will come attached to their bases as a single piece as the main choice of Highlands Miniatures to deliver the files.

We will do our best to deliver also the bodies of the pegasus as free additional content to those who prefer to use brass rods or any other manual transformation to create their own bases.
