Gimme those pointy ears! - Updated Miniatures

Good evening guys,

What a couple of days, huh? 

First of all, we wanted to thank you all for the great welcome you have given to our new fantasy race coming this November 2023 to Highlands Miniatures, the Moredhun's Orcs. 

We have been working around the clock to bring you some preview images of the minor updates we have been implementing during the last few hours, taken directly from our sculpting software. And here it is Ramon to explain the changes:

First of all, we wanted to thank you all for the lovely words and constructive feedback I have received these past few days. After an interesting talk in our Discord server with some of our patrons we have decided to elongate the ears of the Orcs to keep them in line with the classic fantasy approach for this fantasy race. 

Within this minor updated you will mainly find some changes to the face anatomy of the miniature to represent a bit more the fierceness of these miniatures and to make them look more aggressive.

The overall aesthetic provided by the weapons and the armour remains the same, with this medievalesque approach we truly love and in line with our fonts of inspiration.

Finally -on a side note- we wanted to remind everyone, after some of the comments we have seen of certain Facebook groups, that we are not in a competition with any other miniature sculptors, small creators or multimillion dollar companies. We are not here to "blow out the water" any other sculptor or game company nor it is our intention. We are not here to shadow any other artist or miniatures, or to be the most liked guy around the park. We love miniatures. We sculpt miniatures we love. You may like it, you may not, but that's all. 

The world is surrounded by hate these days and we try to make of this community a space of love and care. And for all of you who -even if you don't like the miniatures- maintain this community full of love and care, we truly thank you.

Just kidding. 

We have updated the Orc Warriors Command Group to make the captain a bit more fancier and posh and a banner with a few more decorative elements to reinforce the fierceness of these miniatures. 

We have also updated the overall appealing of the face anatomy and expressiveness of the current Orcish units, like these Orcs with Spears or the Orcs Archers you can see below. 

We have modify a tiny bit the pose of the miniatures but -again- there isn't much room to play here as they are required to fit and rank on 25mm square bases.

And finally the Orc Warriors with modular hand weapons with... *check notes*... more head changes.
