Well, I’ve gotta start off this review with something that’s not gonna bother everyone, but it bothers me quite significantly… These little rodents can’t stand up on their own because the tail’s are too heavy 😑

But everything else about 'em? Good stuff!

Based on the “Lego DC Super Villians Videogame” design from 2018 (pre official Lego squirrel mold in 2022), Bd’g here is a lovely addition to any GL collector!

Although I think if I was to make my own headcannon for a moment here, the name of his canonical predecessor Ch’p would feel more accurate to me. Mostly again because this design actually predates the official Lego squirrel mold. So given the older design, the original squirrel Green Lantern name feels more fitting, yeah? 🤷🏻‍♂️

To be fair, it doesn't really matter to quite possibly anyone but me, but I had to put it out there! But here’s a size comparison for you parts-monkies out there!

Now these three lil guys were not cheap. I think that might be my biggest gripe just under the fact that they can’t stand up. It was $90 for the full set of three (or a staggering $30 per squirrel!)

Moreover, if you wanted a Blue Lantern version, Excelsior (via Tracy’s reseller website) opted that you’d have to buy the full set of one GL and two BL’s

Which leads into my next gripe…

The discernible difference between the two Blue Lantern’s is virtually indistinguishable. I think the only thing I could find was the emblem having black behind the white. $30 more for something that I could have photoshopped myself is a bit frustrating.

Honestly I’m kinda baffled as to why two versions were even made. It’s so extremely subtle that personally, I would have rather saved the money for the next fig to review!

At the end of the day though, they’re all well made, and that’s the biggest thing I could hope for! While I’m miffed about the price and how I’ll have to shoot them with a plate below their little feet, I’m (weirdly) not that disappointed!
