It's the last day of February 2022!
And here's this week's report!
This week, I was on fire and almost finished 3 backgrounds even though it's a long time since I've painted anything! I got 2 finished and the third one still on progress...
Now I kinda understand why sometimes art takes quite a while to complete. After the first 2 backgrounds I made, the third one, well... I felt EXTREMELY lazy, like the one where you're burned out in open-world games and decided that you had enough for the day!
And certainly, the hot weather isn't helping at all! This week's daytime has always been 34-35 Celcius, that's like 93F if you're used to Fahrenheit! I'm sweating every day! My fan blows warm air!
Red's having some family problems and he'll be moving out on his own soon, so, let's just wish Red the best!
Story (Script/Dialogues)
No changes since last week, haven't touched anything, was focused on the background.
Art (Backgrounds/CG/Sprite)
Finished 2 backgrounds in total, the third one is still a work in progress, and here's the pic.
As you can see, the walls aren't done yet, some items are still missing, the overall atmospheric lighting is also not there yet, and even the door is still missing! Work in progress, people!
But... we're now 100% sure that some of the games will be point-and-click! I don't have any experience coding them but I'll hope I'll pull through and make a good one!
Red will still be drawing the chars but I found a backup artist that can match Red's style pretty well, so we have a Plan B if things go south, but right now, let's trust in Red!
