Newt and Demon ending

I've posted all the chapters of N&D 8, which means the series is technically over. Except I have some stuff I want to add after the last chapter. But, that is the last Theo-led N&D chapter ever. Which is kinda wild. According to my google doc, N&D Book 1 Chapter 1 was created on May 30th 2022. I started writing this book after a series of mine failed to get traction, and I was looking for a break. I wanted to write something that was boring, where the MC didn't really do much aside from craft. That kinda went down the toilet, but you know how these things go.

Along the way, I learned a helluva lot about writing. During that time my writing graveyard filled to the point of bursting. I've thrown out a lot of ideas, tried to rework others, and maybe, just maybe, finally found how to make this writing thing work. I've developed RSI, watched my kid go to school, and watched N&D do pretty damn good on Amazon. I've got no idea what this means for me, but I hope I left a bit of myself on the page.

The lore of the "Newtiverse" is now a bit too big. Which means I plan to expand it, of course. There's an entire prequel series in mind, and enough sequels to make your eyes pop out. The first of these is already running, with System Scribe Academy already chugging through an entire 220k book 1 here on Patreon and a book 2 starting next week. Although Gladesbale is connected to the universe, it is a distant one. But all my next planned projects are within the Newtiverse, and specifically the local sector.

There's no break for me. No time to reflect, because I don't really care about that kinda stuff. Above all, I absolutely love writing and don't really care about most of the other stuff. I want to write a bunch of boring books about crafters and ranchers and all that crap. I want to come up with even more weird systems and expand on fun stuff like magic and crafting. There's a two week break I'm going to take in spring, but otherwise I'm at full steam ahead.

Mainline stories are going to run at 5/week with the secret projects getting posted whenever I feel like it. One of those projects might be a "pls give me your feedback" situation, where I write ~20 chapters as a test.
