Here is the piece finished (: , this is the first piece of current Term 12. Rewards for this term will be send out during the first days of July. This was one of the pieces where I start with a completely different idea than what it ends up being lol but I embrace that.

2018-06-14 21:25:46 +0000 UTCThat's how it goes sometimes when the creative flows lead us in different directions. Would be interesting to know what your initial idea was going to be. The lighting sure does create a rather gloomy atmosphere, which I quite like. As always these personal pieces are absolutely fascinating. The monument-esque construction behind the character kinda gives me a cemetery feel. The moonlight in the background fits in nicely. I'm almost surprised not seen a scar on this character since it's one of those little details you have been using often in the past. In any case, great work Fernanda.

Her hair is gorgeously painted and the roses are a wonderfully complimentary color to the entire piece. I understand how you feel with starting a piece with one idea and then changing it -- this happens sometimes while I am writing my books. I will start thinking it is going a certain direction and then - SURPRISE - it takes a turn I did not see coming. Hahah! Such is the beauty of art, though!
