Artemis Sketch!

Hey guys! ♥

Here is the sketch for Artemis!, I am happy how it turned out and can not wait to start painting.

This was one of times when it was a bit of a struggle to get it right , I had to go through several variations and adjustments of the pose and composition, but that is Ok. I have learned with time that not all ideas are perfect right from the start, not all sketches come out perfect the first time and that is totally fine, I try to figure out why is not working, what area of the piece feels off to me and then fix that and so on. Also I just went through some dental procedures and could barely eat, drawing dead hungry is no fun haha D:.

I know some of you have asked me how long does it take to work on things, It took me an entire week to get the sketch. First I use some time searching for as many references and images I might need for the concept the painting process, then took me some days of trial and error to get it right. Is not always like that, sometimes the concept and sketch comes out quick and easy, some others is a bit more difficult.
