My husband and I just got married a couple of years ago, and we have moved to 4 different states within that time for his career. He also is gone a lot traveling for his work. For me, working remotely in an unfamiliar new home with him gone so much can feel isolating, and I can get overwhelmed. When I’m overwhelmed, it definitely affects my art. So to see someone as successful as you are struggle with similar feelings too helps a lot. 💛 Your work is beautiful and so inspiring to me! Thank you so much for sharing!

I am also a workaholic and have to keep going, even when I shouldn't. I hope things get better after the stress calms down. <3 I also understand that scary feeling that somehow you're not good enough and your work is never enough. I have this happen after almost every few years, regardless of how many books I write. I think many artists deal with this. It really is tough and it's an awful phase to go through. I am so proud to have known you for so long and to have met you. You're so very talented and your work is so emotional and beautiful. I'm glad you found your spark again when you did some commissioned pieces!
