New sketches!

How are you?, I hope you are doing great (: . Because I paused last month term I was able to truly take a break and it was so lovely. I didn´t even remember last time I really took a break, not just working on a project on the side, clients, etc. Being self employed I struggle a lot with taking breaks or even vacations, I feel I always have to work in case something happens, but we all need a break every once in a while. Specially if you are in a creative field, is crazy how much difference can make to give your brain some time to not think about anything art related, then you can come back feeling fresh and re inspired. Also I realized I needed some new music and references/inspo to help me feel motivated, so I took some time to find that as well.
All that being said, I hope you can all take a break when you need it, also give your arm/wrist breaks too!. Here are a couple of sketches I did just for personal pieces that I am excited to work on.

I think sometimes we feel like we’re failing if we stop working for even a short time, but really - we need the break for our mental and physical health. The sketches are beautiful so far! Enjoy the process!
