Hi, guys, Quinn here! My new Neuromancer video is coming out soon!
I’d love to hear from you before it drops, do you have any questions or thoughts about Cyberpunk books, Neuromancer itself, or other stories with similar cyberpunk or dystopian themes?
Whether it’s theories, favorite moments, or suggestions for what I should explore next, drop them in the comments below and they may be featured in the video!
Hey Quinn,
Thank you for the chance to ask questions. Have read a wide variety of sci-fi, fantasy, and horror over the years it was great to come across your channel on YT, especially since it's channel's like yours were YT's actual purpose is served. I have a more pedestrian question than some, but one I think viewers of your channel would appreciate. I've read all of Gibson's novels and he is definitely one of my favorites, especially in the cyberpunk and speculative sci-fi genres, and I am a fan of Steven Baxter as well, but I was wondering what other authors you would recommend in the cyberpunk genre? What are some great cyberpunk novels, anthologies, and/or series you would recommend?
Thank you so much for all the videos and recommendations you have made, some of them have been truly amazing reads.

William Gibson writes cyberpunk stories where the main characters are to some extent under the control of an AI, unwittingly for Case and Molly in Neuromancer, directly for Armitage. The AI drives the plot. Other science fiction writers seem uncomfortable with this, or prefer heroic humans battling against the AI. Am I missing the works of some other authors? Is the Gibson style more likely to come true?
