My dear friend...
Added 2023-05-21 21:07:40 +0000 UTCFirst I want to say I am so sorry for not having much content this month. As some of you may already know, my dear friend HixyStix passed away last week. We were dear friends. When she had to shut down her own patreon, I let her piggy-back off mine as a tier to further support her, as many of you may have seen.
I may have only met her a few years ago, but we were fast friends and I felt like I had known her for longer. We became IRL friends as well, and she visited me a handful of times, and again, it felt like we had been friends already for so long. I was trying to plan on visiting her later in the year so she could show me around her town for a change. I'm sad I will never get that chance.
We collaborated on so many things, as the kalluzeb fandom probably has noticed, and she was always there to support me and offer advice. We brainstormed and talked about so many of her fics as well as my meager ones. We chatted daily, if only just to see how the other was doing or what we were up to.
For those who were part of her tier, I just wanted to let you know that she left me access to her AO3 with instructions to post what she had for 3 of her Lupin WIPs in her drafts. I will be posting those on AO3 probably sometime in the next couple weeks.
This has all been so hard to accept and process.
She will be deeply missed.
