Supermental Update
Added 2020-01-07 10:34:19 +0000 UTCI took a week to recuperate and flesh out a bonafide plan to tackle Supermental. The old way of waiting for money to stockpile to get a few minutes of animation is unrealistic for getting this project done within the century. I've decided that I will be getting hundreds of animators to animate individual shots to get the series made. If you've seen shrek retold, it is in similar fashion to that. For me, I am personally excited to get a bunch of people together to make something original, but I get that you guys are most interested in the hows and whens. I'm going to do one last re-write to accommodate the wild style shifts, and to get the scripts into an actual document (I wrote the damn thing on paper).
I've become a little concerned because all of the work I'm doing is very spoiler heavy, but I don't want to continuously show up here with nothing. I'm thinking maybe I could end these updates with a screenshot, or a 4 second audio clip or something from now on as long as nothing is spoiled. Iunno. I leave that up to you.
To be perfectly blunt the scale of the project was really weighing on me and I came a little closer than I would've liked to giving up, but now it seems like we got structure. Master Script, Master Audio (of the whole fucking series), Storyboards, and then, finally, the people coming in to animate shots.
I'm returning to the cave now, with my goal to have all writing complete by January's end. See you there!
