NCT127 - Sticker Reaction

WOW just wow, this is a totally new type of sound! It sounds so weird in the beginning but slowly grows on you! SM is indeed very experimental... What are your opinions on this song?

NCT127 - Sticker Reaction

Comments

I love that their beautiful vocals got to shine and the melody was really unique

If you listen to it enough times you can kinda tune out the flute, which it the main that bothered me

I personally think this song is made to make NCT’s vocals shine, especially during stage performances this is very evident. It’s the song on the album I listen to the least since it doesn’t really fit any particular “mood”. I don’t know when I’m supposed to listen to it... I have found myself listening to all the other songs a lot this past week though. I honestly liked this a lot more than their previous album. Except the HitchhikerXSokodomo one. It falls into that specific weirdo-kpop genre that sticker does too. I generally find these difficult to enjoy, since, like I said earlier, it doesn’t really match a specific vibe or anything. Maybe a robotic acid trip? Idk.

Uhhhh...... just not my thing.

The video doesn’t work. Can you please provide a link like you did for the other videos ?

You guys should listen to Lemonade, it's more traditional NCT and I think you'd appreciate it more than Sticker.

I love this song and the MV is awesome. As a newby to KPop, I find many of the songs are very formulaic. They can start to sound the same after awhile. Not this song! Love that it's not mainstream. The MV is visually interesting. I'm totally down with any extra time to watch these guys!

The song would be good if it wasn’t for the flute sound being repetitive, anyway the album is much better and enjoyable 👍

Taste ! It grew on me so much. Sm stans are the shunned creative art kids

Does someone have a link in getting page not found?

I love this song, and the rest of the album as well.

I thought it is only me but I really find this song very odd.

Yeah - not a fan at all. This was one of the rare few instances I couldn’t even bear to finish listening to the whole thing - that flute makes it almost unbearable. I feel like SM is trying a bit too hard to be in the spotlight again - It’s great to be experimental however I think this song just wasn’t it! It’s a no from me for sure!

Dee

I like it!

i really didnt like it. I especially didnt like that stupid flute repeating thru the entire song. it was so jarring and discordant. I think it was ok the first couple of times, but they should of stopped it after that. The rest of the song, was just too many different genres just shoved together for no reason (I havent seen the MV). I have listened to lots of 'experimental' stuff that was much better (western as well as Indian). hard pass from me.

I love this song - already commented on DJ Jino's site (he gave it a fail and a lecture on fake reactors). I wish the producers pushed the music/vocals more on the bridge, which is the weakest part of the song. Jacob Restituto pointed out the Middle Eastern vibe was very trendy. I thought the dissonant piano and violin chords were very jazzy layered under the rapping and vocal wah-wahs. One reactor didn't like how the the vocals were tuned up too loud and pushed out of its normal range but I liked that - that made it exciting for me. One NCT fan said the rodeo scene harkened back to where they last performed in the states (the name of the arena) - I wouldn't know, so can't confirm that. You've both been to Las Vegas, yes? Wouldn't you say the video has that oversize, flashing lights quality of the Las Vegas Strip. I don't know how the gunslinger concept works into that but there is a duel somehow. And I wouldn't buy SM stock if you think this one song will turn their fortune around - the rest of the album (unfortunately) stays true to form and does nothing for NCT 127 but make unnecessary noises (except for 'Road Trip' - that's a decent song). David, take a listen again, listen specifically for the piano/violin and how it plays against the rap/vocals and then you'll know when the drop will come in - you won't miss it, promise.

🤔 This reminds of Hip Hop from the late 1990s to early 2000s mixed with EDM.
