I really hope everything turns out fine with the LA concerts. I think they were planning it for a long time, with the PTD stadium tiktoks and whatnot. If I remember correctly, there was a map with Korean cities with stadiums during BangBangCon as well. 2 months are a long time in covid era, numbers can go up drastically in a few week. In my contry, I'm afraid, we will be having another lockdown soon, despite the vaccination.

We had a huge spike in COVID cases and an increase in COVID-related deaths in my state despite 79% of our population being fully vaccinated. We are not easing restrictions, which means wearing masks indoors, in crowded outdoor situations and continuing social distancing. People have to be "akamai" (which means "smart") about how to live within their communities and others when you travel. You yourself are not an island alone - that's not how the world works.

I think they're having it in LA because California is pretty good about requiring COVID restrictions (vaccinations/testing) for events. It's also the biggest state where a lot of their fans are so if they had to choose one location to limit travel, this is a good choice. I assume they'll also be doing other things in LA (promo/collabs) around the concerts. About LOONA, why would the company spend $10+ million on predebut promotions. As far as I know LOONA don't really do concerts and you would need to sell millions and millions of albums to make $10 million. LOONA is popular, but not THAT popular, so how did they even expect to pay back the investors

2021-09-30 21:05:06 +0000 UTCI'm happy to know that BTS is gonna perform for ARMY in person again, but this notice of them having a live concert came quite unexpectedly (at last to me), so I was thinking... 1) Maybe they added these concerts as a fill in to their schedule to check out the waters with the covid situation since they might have had already planned to go to LA either way and do some TV promotions? New dates may be added elsewhere afterwards? 2) These sudden concerts, might be done as some sort of wrap up before any big change in the formation of the group happens? (aka, members enlisting...) Just some thoughts...
