Why was Tae sad? My guess is he was feeling emotional more then sad. He’s with friends he loves but doesn’t get to see often. Covid put BTS’ plans into a tailspin and Jin is going into the military first. There are a lot of changes happening in his life. I think he felt secure enough to cry in the moment. Just my humble opinion.

2022-08-20 10:01:14 +0000 UTCI think Tae was sad in 2021. This was filmed in 2022. It was a week or so after his 27th birthday when they filmed this. I always get sad around my birthdays, too, thinking of things I should have accomplished and didn't over the past year. He's been hinting at his mixtape for two years now, so maybe that's his angst? (Personally I think there's tension in BTS between RM and SUGA, but that's whole other topic).
