OK - CHANGE OF PLAN

Hi there.

Some of you might have noticed that (once again), the 65LABS Patreon unpaused itself and we didn't catch it in time to hit pause again before it rolled over into October.

This was accidental on our part, but to be honest, this inadvertent subscription heist is very useful in helping to balance out the ongoing server costs that keep the Wreckage Systems stream ticking along. And that was our original goal of this whole project, right? Keep the stream alive!

WRECKAGE SYSTEMS LTS TIER

This has prompted a change of plan here at 65LABS. We are going to spin up the Wreckage Systems LTS (long term support) tier. It has the same benefits as the current tiers, but is cheaper. It is just £2.50 a month. Anybody on this tier (and of course the higher ones if that's what you stick with!) will be a great help in contributing to the ongoing server and maintanence costs of this most extravagant of infinite music projects.

This means that the Patreon subscription is STAYING ACTIVE for the foreseeable future - as is the Wreckage Systems stream! And if you want to downgrade your subscription, the Wreckage Systems LTS tier lets you show your support for endless weird noise for the price of about a quarter of Netflix a month. If you're happy where you are, then thank you.

Full transparency - the updates here will continue to be very low traffic for the moment. In an ideal world, the Wreckage Systems LTS skeleton crew will be able to find the odd day here and there to carve out some time to make the stream a little less buggy. In an even more ideal world, there remains the pipe dream of re-building the entire system using open-source software.

So maybe expect the odd update about these activities, but no promises.

In the meantime, Patreon has finally implemented (or we have finally noticed?) something called Collections, which has allowed us to organise our 65LABS archive into something a bit more user-friendly. So if you're relatively new here (and even if you're not), there really is a lot of 65 treasure tucked away in those old posts. These collections are still not exhaustive, but better than nothing and you can find them HERE.

Other than this, 65LABS remains mostly on hiatus so its members can spend what free time they have back at 65HQ, working on the 65days 'new album somehow???' masterplan.

OTHER BUSINESS

There is almost zero chance that you are part of this Patreon and not also signed up to the 65 Propaganda Network. But just in case: 65daysofstatic.com has recently had a refresh. It is a now a website and newsletter rolled into one. Last month we announced that a lot of the lesser-heard 65daysofstatic back catalogue is arriving on the streaming services, beginning with Utopian Frequencies and Disquiet. Tomorrow will see the release of Silent Running.
