You have the best program I have found for what I want to do. Just wish you can take out keyboard stuff. I do a lot of Styx and they do a lot of keyboard work. Other than that the program is great. This comes from a guy who us 70 and an old school musician with a tech bacground.

Hello (sorry if the translation of my message is approximate). As for my part, I haven't had any music to test with the guitar, but I've been comparing a bit between the "Default" and "Beta" versions. I can confirm that I generally find the beta version to be better, not only for separating vocals but also for potential background noises in general, such as isolating the music. I think it would be great to have checkboxes so that the AI could keep together only the instruments selected and separate the rest. Perhaps this could be considered for a future update (hoping for improved compatibility with my screen reader to be added as well).

This tool is most useful to me for older recordings (my own) where I want to remove a clean vocal take. I'd say it's 80% there. Pretty good! It also does well for old video tapes... isolating the speech and turning down the tape hiss/background noise

I am not sure that you have thought about all of the possibilities for this. I am using it for exactly what it is made for, but, I am starting to hear things that I had no idea that were there. I processed an older song and during the intro I noticed in the wav form it stated vocals when there should be none when complete. There were voices and some random singing where you usually only hear instruments. I almost didnt process this song but I am so happy I did. Now, my only worry is that it is artifatcs from processing and that it was just random. I will process a different files to see if I get the same results.

Dmitry, this is an amazing tool! Please keep it going. I have some feature ideas: I would like to see a feature where I can download all files at once and maybe you could also add the ability to save one track to the left channel and others to the right channel. I could then pan the balance if I wanted to hear other instruments. Another thought would be to add a function to slow down the track while keeping the pitch. An EQ would also be helpful. I knew about this a year ago and it improved a LOT I remember that one song I loved had no instrumental version and just letting it do it's thing did absolutely wonders! One thing that's worth mentioning that this works best if the file is super high def. I used FLAC files and even the music splitter worked well which I hardly believed! I think splitting part of the instruments is hard without the actual stems. It looks like he did frequency splitting between the instruments so you will most likely hear sound bleed.

Hopefully, you read this: On the BASS and DRUMS channel, I can hear vocals and music. very light but you can hear it. Did you add "echo" to voices? both times I've loaded in different WAV files the voice(s) have a slight (deep room echo) I can hear voices in the Music (only) part. The whole set has a lot of bleeding from one channel to the next --------------------------- https://postimg.cc/FkY6J2BJ (highlighted aberrations) --------------------------- In the areas circled you get a "PING" of noise very noticeable. In the VOCAL channel, I can hear white noise in the "silent" parts. Not all parts, just some areas. I will check with another WAV file to see if it is due to the recording and not due to your AI. ================================================ Second WAV file (encoding by someone else) BASS channel still has vocals bleeding into the channel DRUMS channel is the same. both BASS and DRUMS have strange aberrations that show up --------------------------- https://postimg.cc/WqgskWzS (aberrations can be seen in this image) ================================================ 3rd WAV (American Pie) because it has a good selection of all 4 areas VOCAL - has a bit of that reverb/echo effect BASS - Still has music/voice bleeding. When the BASS does play it sounds like a very bad MP3 encoding. DRUMS - Still has music/voice bleeding. I tried the "standard" splitter and it's a bit cleaner than the new version https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iX_TFkut1PM that song is a good baseline for helping sort out the 4 channels. A fantastic app, glad you have chosen the free and no ads route, thank you. A feature request, for the "pitch" tab, adding a reverb slider would be nice, ability to create a "slowed and reverb" version of the song in-app. You could take this idea even further, and use vocal separation, elements of the song, the ability to add effects *from pitch* to each layer, ability to add uploaded mp3's into the layer stack in-app. I think there is potential for something great.

the pitch changer is the most horrible sound muisc waves in an out aan sounds like its got a flanger with a heavy spring reverb no way to use this in public im a 40 yr vet in music i wouldnt let my dog here this vocal remove not bad the pitch got to fix or take off so bad

I've tested saving 'music' and 'vocals' stems with Win10/Firefox (version100) and it works fine for me. Maybe you are using some download manager? (it could be the reason of this issue). If yes could you please tell me what extension you are using? And what happens if you are disabled it?

When you go to download , it will bring up another box bass , vocals , drums , the last one hit mix and then go back in and download each splitter track to that song , I had to figure this out myself as well , I didn't know but this worked for me .

I think I've tested the new version of vocal remover extensively now, I have compared music backgrounds created with both algorithms and I am confident, that the new algorithm definitely works better - it splits way cleaner and i think it makes less mistakes now (e.g. removing parts that are not vocals) - compared to the old version it sometimes leaves more residual vocals BUT IMO this is definitely worth it - because then both parts are way cleaner and generally sound better. Thank you for your work, I am still amazed that one can create such a brilliant tool.

Perhaps soon you can separate the lead vocal from the vocal harmonies or the background vocals. I guess this is kind of hard to do, but it's okay if it can't be done.

Woaaah dude!! Just compared it to the old version using 3 different songs and it sounds so much better than I expected! I thought this was just going to be a slight improvement but it's actually like a thousand times better! The vocals sound so damn clear! A little bit of eq-ing, maybe some Unchirp by Zynaptiq and you got yourself a studio acapella hehe. Good job man! <3
