Halloween at the Joke Shop

Looner and Chuckles were straightening up the store and decorating it for Halloween. Halloween was one of Chuckle’s favorite time of year so he always went all out for it. He had taken a few black and orange balloons, as well as hanging up orange paper streamers across all the shelves. Looner whistled to himself as he put up some vintage Halloween decorations, a paper witch, a monster with bolts on his head, and a skeleton dancing under a full moon. He placed them up on the windows with care, sticking them with a bit of scotch tape.

“Looking good so far, boss.” Looner proclaimed as he looked around the store he had become so fond of. Working here was the best job he ever had.

“Yes, but I feel like it’s missing something.” Chuckles said scratching his chin.

As if on cue, the door opened and the playful horn above let out it’s rubbery cry of alert. Both clowns looked up and smiled as a young man walked in, eyebrows already raised out of confusion and concern.

“I think I might be at the wrong place.” he said.

“Where are you supposed to be?” Looner asked curiously. He looked at the man, guessing him to be in his early thirties. He had jet black hair cut short on his head and he was wearing a hawaiian shirt with jeans and sneakers. Very tall and lanky, Looner noted as an aside to himself.

“Saw an ad for temporary seasonal Halloween work. I don’t think it was this place?”

Chuckles eyes widened and he let out a laugh. “Aha! You saw my ad! Well, that’s great. I wasn’t sure if it would get anybody’s attention.”

“You are hiring, boss?” Looner asked. He had been the last hire for the man, and wasn’t eager to fight for shifts.

“Sort of.” Chuckles said. “For Halloween help. This is what I think was missing. Can you start right now?” he said turning to the man.

“Uh. I mean, don’t you want to…”

“Not necessary.” the clown interrupted. “You are perfect and hired.” Chuckles exclaimed as he patted the man on the back and brought him over to the corner of the store where there was a small platform. “Step up here, and we’ll get the hiring process started.”

“I guess. Are you sure you just want to hire me off the street?” the man said as he stood on the platform, which lit up as he stepped.

“Absolutely. Not really anything I need to ask for this job, to be quite honest. It’s stupid easy. You’ll basically just get to sit around and do nothing.”

“Really? That sounds amazing.” he said.

“Then stand perfectly still, and we’ll begin.” he said as he pressed one of two large buttons on the remote he had grabbed from the platform. The platform hummed, filling the room with science fiction sounds that were quite amusing.

“I like your outfits by the way. Clowns are very in this year, thanks to that movie.” he said.

“Movie?” Looner said.

“We aren’t anything like THAT clown.” said Chuckles. “We are friendly folk. Just keep still. Should tickle a bit.”

“What should?” he asked.

“You’ll see.”

The glow of the platform grew stronger, and the hum much louder, and the man did indeed feel tickles running up and down his arms and legs. It was then that both sets of appendages began to pull into the man’s body rapidly. He looked shocked as he stood there, his body now having low legs or arms, just hands and feet sticking out. They too vanished quickly, leaving the confused man wobbling about on the platform.

“What...what the hell?” he shouted.

“Shhhhhhh.” Chuckles said with a finger to his lips as the man’s midsection began to distend. He was growing rounder with each passing second, looking like a tight balloon inflating swiftly. His head seemed to be shrinking as this occurred, causing his concerned cries to get smaller and squeakier.

His body was smoothing out as his clothing fell off the round orb that he was becoming, and it was interesting to watch as his skin took on an orange tint.

“Aha!” Looner replied with a laugh. “I get it now.”

“Get what?” Squeaked a tiny voice before the head shrank too small and pulled into the orange ball, leaving only the black hair on top which had turned brown by the looks of it.

The orb began to swell even larger as it took on a more familiar shape...that of a pumpkin. The hair at the top had started to tighten into a knot and grow larger, creating a greenish/brown stem that stuck out of the pumpkin that was now resizing itself down to the size of roughly a large basketball, losing some of it’s height in the process. It then began to glow a bit and in the center, shapes began to disappear from the flesh of the pumpkin. Two triangles for eyes, an orb for a nose, and a jagged mouth exposed with a toothy grin. The triangles blinked, and the mouth moved around a bit.

“Hey...what gives?!” a voice came from within the gourd sitting on the platform. “What happened to me?”

“I need seasonal help. I need decorations for Halloween and some of them were a bit stale, so I figured a brand new jack-o-lantern would do wonders for the store.” Chuckles said excitedly as the platform powered down.

At first he wanted to curse out the clown standing above him. He then felt a wave of calm over him. It was neat to be a pumpkin and he felt so festive. “Well, I guess I could help out for the season.”

“PERFECT!” the clown said as he lifted up his new decoration and brought him over to the counter.

“What is that machine?” asked Looner.

“The Clown Object-ifier” replied Chuckles. “Turns folks into whatever object you need them to be. Programmed the jack-o-lantern in this morning when I sent out that ad.” he said. “From the makers of the Costume-o-Matic there in the back. That came in handy last Halloween, come to think of it.” he said. Looner nodded. He had poked around the device a few times, and thought it was a good time to use it again. He eyed the large photo booth style device sitting on the opposite side of the store and grinned as the horn honked above the door signaling a new customer.

In the doorway stood a young woman, in her twenties, and a college student by the looks of it. She wore a large sweatshirt with the local college mascot emblazoned on the front and a pair of gym shorts that were just a touch to small for her rear end, allowing anyone watching to see her butt wobble about inside of it’s thin fabric. On her feet were a pair of flip flops, a lazy attempt to get dressed, Looner guessed. On one shoulder she had a backpack, heavy with books, giving her a slight slump.

“Hey dudes. Nice costumes.” she said excitedly. “I knew this place would be the best one to go to.”

Looner waddled over. “Well, thank you kindly, dearie. What are we the best place for now?”

“Costumes! I need a good one. I am going to a Halloween party at this sorority house and I need a killer outfit. I need to be unrecognizable so I can win the grand prize of 300 bucks!” she said.

“Oh my! I think...I think we have just the thing. What is your name, dear?” Looner said as he motioned her to follow him.

“Name is Jenny.” she said.

He lead her over to the machine that Chuckles had just pointed out. “Well, Jenny, this machine helps you DESIGN your very own costume and helps it be the perfect fit too.” he said. He pressed a button on the side of the metal booth and the door slid open. “Hop on in and give it a whirl.” he said. She gave a chuckle of amusement and stepped inside.

“Okay, sir. Let’s see what it has.” she said as she stood in the center, the door sliding shut behind her. Looner could be heard chuckling from outside. She set her backpack down on the floor and looked at the space she was in. It wasn’t all that large, and was actually quite empty. In the center was a large touch screen, slightly larger than that of an tablet device. She saw a large cartoon button that said “Begin”

“Alrighty then.” she said with a grin, pressing it. The room lit up with carnival colored lights and a bubbly piece of music began to play as a small cartoon clown appeared on the screen, an animated avatar that waved at her.

“Howdy there. Welcome to the Costume-o-Matic, Jenny! I am Touchy the Touch Screen Clown and I’ll help you get your costume on!” he said. He had blue hair like the other clown in the store had been sporting, but was sort of shorter and wider like the one who had helped her into the booth.

He danced to the music as he made things on the screen. The first three was Costume Type, Body Type, Body Size.

She selected Costume Type and a few options began to dance next to the clown. A jumpsuit, a pair of overalls with suspender straps, or a ragged looking tuxedo suit. She selected the overalls and the others vanished while it grew larger.

“Colors!” said the clown as an array of them appeared on a painter’s pallet. “Pick two” the clown added as he held the pallet up.

She thought for a moment and selected yellow and green. He nodded. “Great choices, lady!” she said. “Now Polka dots or Stripes?” he said. “Tell me what you think. I can hear ya.”

“Oh. Um. Polka dots.” she said.

He nodded and the pants and suspenders turned green with yellow dots all over. A yellow shirt with green dots added itself to the outfit, and it spun around to give her a view of it’s finished design.

“Cute!” she said. That would be a great start, she thought to herself. The silly little clown took the outfit and placed it off to the side as more options appeared. She then clicked on Body Type.

“Well here we get to figure out what ya gonna look like.” the clown shouted with glee as it presented three options. One said “Mega Pear” another read “Inflato” and the last read “Flabby”

She wasn’t sure what any of the meant, but each had a slight drawing. The pear had a big bottom and smaller top, where Inflato was round all over and Flabby was pudgy looking. She shrugged and selected Mega Pear.

“Perfect!” he said. He took the outfit and began to stretch and mold it, making its lower half larger with more room in the butt area of the pants. The booth hummed a bit as he did this and small goosebumps began to form on her skin. Her already too small shorts began to feel a bit tight as her rear end began to inflate slowly at first, but then it began to balloon out rapidly her hips widening to accommodate the growth. The shorts were now skin tight on the wobbling globes of flesh that were her butt cheeks. The opposite was happening on her chest. Her ample C cup breasts were shrinking into her skin, getting smaller and more pert as they reduced. She was left with A cups within seconds, but she didn’t really notice. Her eyes were fixated on Touchy and his antics on the touch screen.

She smiled as her waved at her and smirked. “Now then, what type of clown will we be?” he asked in a silly voice. Three options appeared on the screen. He bounced and cloned himself to appear on top of each option, and in each, he looked different. The first said Whiteface and he looked mostly the same (but had a much fuller head of hair, she noted.) The second read Auguste and the clown was now pink-skinned with white around his eyes and mouth, while the third option read hobo and that version of Touchy had a beard painted on and no hair to speak of.

She wasn’t usually much for pink, but for some reason she felt drawn to the Auguste one, so she clicked on it. The other Touchy the Clown friends vanished, and the Auguste one smiled. “Good choice.”

Again the booth hummed and goosebumps formed, and her skin began to change tone, rapidly. It went from her normal skin tone to a bright hue of pink. It swirled around every inch of her skin except around her eyes and mouth, which gained thick white circles. She shivered a bit as the skin tingled, and looked at the screen for her next option. It was Feet Size, which she thought was odd.

“Us clowns usually have big ol feet. Mess with the slider to get in on the fun.” Touchy said as he wiggled his shoes in the air. The slider appeared and she took it and, with a giggle, slid it all the way to the farthest setting.

“Oh big feet it shall be.” the clown said as his shoes inflated larger and larger.

The goosebumps spread down to her own feet. They began to stretch forward and grow longer and wider, her flip flops feeling super uncomfortable on the growing appendages, so she slid them off as her toes stretched and inflated. She was unaware of these changes, just looking down to the next the selection. Body Size.

“Now then.” said Touchy. “You gonna be “Plain Jain Normal, Teeny Tiny, or Large and in Charge” he giggled.

“I guess Teeny Tiny sounds fun.” she said as she selected it.

“This is gonna be a big change for you, darling, so hold onto your head.” said Touchy as the room’s hum got louder and a bright flash emitted from the screen. She watched the entire booth start to stretch upwards, and she felt a rush of wind as her body pulled downwards.

“What the helll….” she said as she suddenly vanished into her clothing on the floor of the booth. After a few moments, she found her way out and stepped out of her panties, shorts and shirt, looking up at the touch screen which looked like a giant jumbotron screen now. Her backpack stood next to her, almost as big as a house. She had to have been four inches tall or even smaller.

“Hey! This isn’t funny! How..” she muttered. The loud voice of Touchy echoed.

“We make the costume fit, no matter the request. You wanted a teeny tiny pear shaped colorful clown costume, so you are a teeny tiny pear shaped clown, but we need to finish you up and get you dressed.

Her head tingled as her hair poofed up into a massive afro of red and blue swirled color. She then felt her nose start to expand on her face, turning a shade of pink to match his skin.

A small hatch opened on the side of the booth this point, and a light up arrow pointed. “Time to get dressed.” the clown said.

She felt compelled to walk towards it and once she stepped inside, she felt another rush of wind as fabric seemed to wrap itself around her and her body. She looked down at her outfit and saw the shirt and overall combo she had selected in perfect detail, snug around her massive but, and lose up top. She thought it was...adorable. She felt great in it.

“This is great.” she said. “But I can’t go to the party like this.” she said as a new hatch opened and she stepped out into the joke shop, her tiny yet large feet slapping on the cold floor.

“I think I know another party you can go to though. You’ll fit right in.” Looner said.

“You do?” She said.

“Yeah. The Annual Tiny Town Halloween Party is always a gas, and you’ll be a great addition. Want to go?” Looner asked.

She nodded. “Then I’ll turn back?” she said.

“Nope. Tiny Town is kind of a forever place.” Looner said picking her up, and sprinkling some dust on her head.

“Forever! Wait No! I take it back! I don’t want to…” she said before disappearing with a small pop.

“Happy Halloween” Looner said with a massive smile as he waited for another guest to arrive for this festive occasion.

(To be continued a bit!)

Fixed it! Thank you

There's a weird link a little below halfway down. Just a spot where you forgot to put a space between sentences. Thought I'd let you know.
