The Tartakka - April's first creature release
Added 2023-04-01 11:32:38 +0000 UTCHey everyone! New month, new beasts, and for April we're going fast. Both creatures roam over the western plains of Sol'Kesh and although we're starting with the prey, the tartakka, this speedy fellow is no slouch, and comes with my favorite item created so far.
First Creature Release - Today
The Tartakka is a fast paced herd animal, far from the docile creature most herbivores tend to be, this mammal will charge at the slightest provocation. With its highly fortified skull and layers of protective blubber it can ram into nearly everything and go unscathed. It's craftable item is an explosive napalm-like grenade used by the refined oils from its back hump blubber, the Pot of Smold.
Second Creature Release - April 15th
The Bearded Draffer is a pack animal known to chase down its prey in coordinated strikes to thin the herds by quick slashing attacks. Bleeding the beasts weak until one slows down just enough for them to pounce. And we're definitely using those scything tusks for their craftable item.
