Bulldozer and Tow Truck
Added 2025-09-03 23:14:44 +0000 UTCTwo practitioners push against or pull away from each other, yet both are carried by the same current of play.
The activity is simple: one partner pushes, then pulls the other while maintaining safe connection. The other partner resists to provide challenge but does not deny their partner’s turn.
The video begins with one practitioner as the bulldozer.
Palms press flat to the shoulders, fingers together like boxing gloves, forming a seal that connects surfaces without poking or slipping.
The bulldozer leans forward, heels light, pushing with the whole body, not just the arms. Legs stay wider than the partner’s for balance and to avoid clashes.
The partner drapes their arms over the bulldozer’s arms to seal the connection and prevent falls or clashes. They lean in to provide resistance, offering challenge without blocking progress. This keeps the practice playful, not adversarial.
The arms cling-wrap the two bodies together, while the legs act as the engine driving the tandem machine forward.
When the pair has traveled far enough, the bulldozer becomes the tow truck.
Hands slide down to hook deep behind the partner’s triceps for maximum surface seal and friction.
The partner sits their weight back, arms still draped but connecting more actively to prevent detachment and falling.
The tow truck bends low into a squat, legs wider than the partner’s. They pull the partner backward, maintaining connection and balance. Both practitioners are bent over.
Again, the arms seal the connection, while the legs supply the engine’s pull.
You can play with resistance, grips, duration, distance, or roles. For example, stay with bulldozer or tow truck. You might also do several rounds of bulldozer before switching to tow truck.
