Days of Hell!

Ladies and Gentlemen,

I am sorry for the pause and lack of updates but I had the "pleasure" of experiencing a couple of days of back pain hell. After a night at the hospital with heavy pain meds and some checkups I feel confident that the worst is over now but it will take some more time to get back in shape again.

All the lockdowns didn't help with the exercise schedule I need to complete to stay fit. I should go for a walk every day outside! But of course it's also my lazyness and just that I love so much what I am doing that I tend to forget the needs of my physical dimension :)

Comparing this to the last times this happened I expect to get back to 100% in about four weeks. But as I am able to walk again I can do short periods on the computer before I need rest and exercise again to loosen it all up and strengthen the weak parts. So I don't think it will be four weeks of no WIP at all.

I will go through my files and look for things that will require smaller workload like updates I have planned for existing sets. And also I will look into the missing texturing for the Dark Age fortress set that I can work on isolated from the full set.

I am about to leave for my next check up so wish me luck and I will keep you updated on the situation!

Chris

Wish you get better sooner!

Thank you Sam! I will try the route via exercises first which helped the last times but I can assure you, if that doesn't help I will gladly accept anything that will help me manage the pain and just get rid of this general feeling of "everything-is-unsafe". Getting older sucks! :P

The best to you Chris! I know the very feeling... had a procedure done in 2019 where the Orthopedist did what's called an 'ablation'. For one spot on my lower back he went in there with a needle using radio waves (?) and literally killed the nerves that hurt the most. It was painful, but didn't take long and made all the difference in the world! It's just that the rest of my spine still hurts! It's arthritis in my case, but might be an idea. Hope you feel better soon, regardless!
