now that summer finally seems to be over (here) and temperature is cooling down to a more moderate (and enjoyable) level I also have been cooling down after the latest release. I have been busy with working on promoting of the new DAFB#2 set but I also started working on the "upgrades" for the set.
Above you can see a thatched version of a roof for the small gate that will also fit the towers, the bastion or it can be used stand alone as a shed. These roof options will include all the usual skins (wood shingles, grass, thatched) and can be detailed with the roof ornaments. The version for the wide gate matches the NVB2 roof (5x3") so if you built those you can reuse them for the wide gate too! What a coincidence ;)
I also made a recolor of the treasure chest for my entry of the 2021 Papercuts Awards! I always wanted to have a red/golden version matching the "pirate colors". The Papercuts Awards over on the Cardboard Warriors Forum have various categories including paperminis and models and the good thing is that you can download the entries!
