The Temple of Hera
Proud and vain like their Deity, the Followers of Hera are thus nicknamed The Peacocks, both in regard to the sacred animal of the Matriarch Goddess, and to the flamboyant attires they often sport.
Still, seldom a soul would dare say such a thing in front of them, for these powerful ministers, representatives of the State’s Patron Divinity, have enjoyed an almost absolute authority in Castillia. That is, until the recent hostilities against the Empire, which have been the cause of much anger.
Despite this, the Inquisitors, charged of investigations involving magical affairs, stand out among their arrogant peers. Notoriously cruel and sadistic, their members will go to any length in order to catch and punish Arcane users who have been branded of heresy.
