Episode 1: "Decode the Sky, Save Lives!"
Kankuro Haruhara, also known as "Harukan," is a researcher at the Japan Meteorological Agency's Meteorological Research Institute who appears in the weather section of news programs. Aya Kumota came to his laboratory as a temporary worker. In the middle of it all, an announcement is made to the media about the establishment of SDM, a task force of experts of all ranks and ages, assembled based on their abilities, to protect lives from weather-related disasters. Kumota learns that Haruhara is the head of the Meteorology Unit and that she was hired by Kasumi Ueno, Haruhara's supervisor, as his assistant. The next day, due to sudden bad weather in the northern part of Fukushima Prefecture, reports come in that 10 people were caught in an avalanche. Without hesitation, Haruhara decided to mobilize SDM and rushed to the scene with Kumota.

Episode 2: "Helicopter deployed in the raging blizzard!"
Haruhara, the supervisor of the Meteorology unit in SDM, was analyzing the weather in order to save Satake, the fire brigade supervisor, and Maeda, who were in a double disaster when they fell off a cliff during a rescue attempt. It turns out that Maeda's wife, Asuka, is Satake's daughter. Yugo, a member of the fire department unit, wants to be the first to rescue his superior Satake and Maeda, but there is no way to approach them, so he pulls out temporarily reluctantly. Then, they receive a call that there is a mother and daughter in need of rescue.

Episode 3: "Huge Fire Spreads With Strong Winds! The Determination of a Genius Doctor With a Broken Heart"
SDM welcomes Yugo Sonobe as the new Fire Department Supervisor. While training the candidates to establish the dedicated medical unit, Haruhara continues to unleash insults. Among them was Sagiri Shiomi, a once genius neurosurgeon now said to be too injured to hold a scalpel. Sagiri boasted that she could handle all kinds of cases in the initial treatment, so Haruhara retorted that it was a "nuisance" to her half-hearted attitude aimed at returning to work. A fire breaks out in an area under a high wind warning. Haruhara dispatches the SDM, but the medical unit, with Koichiro Shiga, the medical unit supervisor, is bewildered at the dispatch on the first day of training. When they went to the site, the fire was still raging, and many needed rescue. To contain the fire, SDM also has to coordinate with the local fire department. In the medical team, Shiga finds fault and orders Sagiri to do some menial tasks. Sagiri, however, has an unforgettable memory from her past that led to her injury.

Episode 4: "The Threat of a Tornado! Sisters Put to the Test… Overcome The Past!"
SDM heads to a place where a typhoon hit six months ago to educate children about disaster preparedness. Among the children is Mika, a 10-year-old girl who experienced the loss of her grandfather in that same typhoon six months earlier, and her childhood friend Kohei, who cares for her. And that is Aya's hometown, where Aya's sister, Maki, works in the Citizen's Affairs Division at the City Hall. Maki and Aya had been affected by a dust devil that hit three years earlier, and Maki has been in a wheelchair ever since. Aya has an awkward relationship with her sister because she is the only one unharmed. Haruhara's analysis reveals that the area is in danger of being hit by a typhoon. They requested that an evacuation order be issued immediately. With the cooperation of local TV stations, SDM will provide a warning evacuation order live on the air. Aya, who has experienced the disaster firsthand, believes she is the best person to warn the public about the crisis. So, Aya volunteers to appear on live TV to confront the past that she wants to forget… 

Episode 5 : "From Hail to Fog! A Series of Disasters… A Spy Infiltrates SDM!"
Sawatari, a police officer and husband of Minister of Internal Affairs and Communications Tachibana approached Haruhara, saying that he was the last person to see Akari alive. He also left a mysterious comment that he and his wife had their lives turned upside down by Akari's action. Sawatari was recommended by Tachibana and assigned as the SDM Police Unit Supervisor. Sawatari didn't hide that he was a "spy" bent on crushing SDM. Then Haruhara saw signs of huge hails coming within two hours, and SDM got dispatched, but an initial mistake was made...

Episode 6: "Read the Wind and Deliver the Life-saving Medicine!"
Three days ago, an earthquake struck Shizuoka, leaving about 10 people stranded in an area with a blocked road. Despite the need for relief supplies, vehicles and helicopters cannot access the site, and cell phone service is unreliable. In response, SDM plans to utilize disaster prevention drones tomorrow, requiring Ueno's expertise in drone operation. However, this coincides with the National Paper Plane Competition in Nagano, which Ueno's son, Kaito, desperately wants her to attend. Kaito recently visited SDM headquarters and expressed his frustration with Ueno breaking promises because of SDM.

Episode 7: "Linear Precipitation Zones X Debris Flows… All-out Effort to Save Lives!"
"I took the life of someone precious to you."
Out of the blue, Ueno broke the news to Haruhara. Aya Kumota is perplexed. Ueno confides that he was with Akari during the heavy rain in south Kanto five years ago, and that all those who followed Akari's instructions were saved. Yugo and Sagiri, who had heard the story over the radio, asked Ueno why Akari had risked her life to leave the scene. But before Ueno can answer, an alert sounds in the command vehicle. A weather ship and fishing boats caught in a waterspout had collided with each other. Furthermore, the weather ship had recorded a large amount of water vapor, and Haruhara predicted that the vapor would create a linear precipitation zone that would cause cloudbursts on the same scale as the one that occurred five years ago in the Tokai region. Each of them had their own concerns and thoughts, and SDM put all of its resources into dealing with it…

Episode 8: "Heat Lightning Strikes! SDM Suspended… Will Haruhara Make a Comeback?!"
Ueno muttered, "Live..." and was caught in the debris flow, protecting Haruhara. When Haruhara wakes up, he finds the SDM members are grieving… and Maruyama tells them what happened in the heavy rain in south Kanto five years ago. Haruhara and the others learn the truth for the first time. Six months later, SDM had been suspended. Haruhara no longer makes weather forecasts...

Episode 9: "Emergency Evacuation for 2.6 million People"
An emergency press conference was held after a gas explosion occurred at a plant for a national disaster prevention project that Sonobe was working on. The explosion of gas, which was said to be a safe and secure energy source, puts Sonobe in a predicament. Even Motoki Niijima, a politician who has Sonobe cornered and is after his post, appears. Meanwhile, Haruhara and Kumota's analysis revealed that the strongest storm in recorded history, which is expected to evacuate more than 2.6 million people, is approaching eastern Japan. Gathering together the heads of the crisis management divisions and disaster prevention and crisis management departments of the Greater Tokyo area, SDM members proposed a large-scale evacuation plan, but Eiko Kurata, the head of Tokyo, put the proposal on hold due to potential massive damage if forecast is wrong and, most importantly, because SDM, with Sonobe's involvement in a controversy, is leading the effort

Epsiode 10 END: "SDM Urgent Mission"
A Predecessor Rain Event (PRE) occured in Saitama due to the influence of the strongest storm in recorded history approaching eastern Japan. A major sinkhole occurred on the road. Along with Haruhara's analysis, Yugo puts all his energy into the rescue. Sagiri treats the rescuees, but for the first time as SDM, there were civilian fatalities. "We'll keep fighting until the end." Haruhara, determined to do so, heads for Tokyo, where the typhoon is approaching. They attempted to alert the public to the storm but were unable to respond due to a power outage, so Kumota and Maruyama decided to head to the area. As Aya and Hikaru go from door to door to alert the residents, they receive reports that people are seen voluntarily evacuating from their apartments. Aya and Hikaru hurriedly evacuated, but then a sudden windstorm hit…
