Charge up front / discussion
Added 2018-08-03 08:06:44 +0000 UTCI'm also weighing in on the option on going charge up front model, just to make the bot leeching harder. This in my opinion from what I read make your situation any different.
Though I do want your feedback on the matter too!
This would
a) Make it more fair for you since it would stop botting (since those people are too greedy to pay even a penny for content)
b) If I got it right doesn't really make your life as a supporter any harder

I'd reccomend doing it, I have done it on my patreon. It just means that the money from the supporters can be accessed instantly, and ensures that the supporters are intending on actually supporting, and not just trying to get the content for free, before removing the pledge before the start of the next month. It would stop the bots, and would also stop dishonest users from pledging, just to steal the content. ^^
