Hi there, This is something we've been asked about a lot, and we understand this is a concern for most. Although we don't want to go too much into detail on what we have in place, rest assured that we do have measures in place to prevent this from happening and we will be constantly evolving these measures over time. Kindest regards, Jazzy.

First and foremost, I want to express my gratitude for the continuous improvements you're making, and I appreciate the transparency in communicating price and offer changes in advance. I do have some concerns about the potential for malicious connections triggering the hard cap to disrupt events. What measures are being taken to mitigate the impact of individuals who may try to exploit the system by loading the stream solely to obstruct legitimate access? Thank you, and I look forward to hearing how these questions are being addressed by your team.

Hi there, That is correct. Anyone viewing your stream from a VRCDN URL (this includes those in a VRChat instance for example) will count as 1 towards your concurrent viewers (CCU) So as you mentioned, 20 people inside of VRChat viewing your stream will count as 20 towards your CCU. We recently added a graph to the live tab so you can see your CCU for the last 24 hours, this may be useful to help you better understand. Kindest regards, Jazzy.

Hi there, You are correct here. Anyone watching your stream via any of the VRCDN stream URLs will count as a viewer. We update the CCU instantly so miscounts shouldn't be an issue. Kindest regards, Jazzy.

I have a question, what defines a viewer? So if I understand it correctly on full VRC instance of 80 people would be a 80ccu, and with some swapping of people depending on how often that's updated i guess it could peak at 85-90ccu for one instance. So basically any dj playing in a full venue would need to be at least on the 2nd tier, is that correctly understood?

Hi there, All tiers will now have a hard cap as we are retiring the soft cap entirely. - Jazzy.

You describe the difference between “soft cap” and “hard cap”, but don't mention if the "New Tier CCU" is a soft cap or a hard cap. Could you maybe make this more clear in the table? Thanks.
