Iβve been working on tests for some aerial animations, exploring an efficient workflow that lets me create and render these scenes quickly. Recently, a potential client asked about a 7-minute animation, and with my current workflow, it would take months to complete! So, Iβm experimenting with ways to streamline the process.
In this setup, Iβm working with a mix of 2D images layered within a 3D scene. My goal isnβt hyper-realism but something realistic enough that I can produce efficiently. The clouds, for instance, are vdbs rendered with transparent backgrounds and simply put on 2D planes.
Iβll be sharing these clouds here very soon for anyone interested in using them.
