2021-01-07 04:03:21 +0000 UTCAh, I see what you're asking. No, they are not consumable. But First Glass is cheap and can hold very little spellwork. If Duane wanted to summon two lions at once and didn't want them to be a single one mirrored, he'd need two pymarics casting two separate instances. I wouldn't overthink it. You can walk into an artificer's supply shop and buy those glass pellets, they come in standardized sizes and are designed for making little personal pymarics like this.

If my memory is not spinning things, a glamour is a pymaric program burned into something (farcyte, i think?) that is a shorthand for a wright instead of mumbling two dozens of paramenters for the fourier transform curves that would make the exact needed shape ("hear me, great khert, instantiate this-kind-of-shape at these coordinates"). So... if all there is in them is a program, it's not used up upon use. But then why would he need more than one? If they are used up when used, then – are they easily created as copies of one that Duane designed, or did he have to painstalkingly record the program into each of the beads that Elkuigs have used so injudiciously now?

2021-01-04 14:53:13 +0000 UTCThey are nothing fancy. They are tiny little beads, or pellets, of First Glass, with glamours inside that have some primitive animations and behaviours assigned to them. Purely for aesthetic. They can't hurt or interact with anyone, so you couldn't use them in a fight.
