Our tale thus far has spoken here and there of this Grenzlan city. It's a Crescian border town that's found itself conquered and recently occupied by an unexpected Aldish invasion facilitated by the old Foi-Hellick tunnels. Alds have been able to use the town to stage vliegeng raids, which otherwise are difficult to push far into Cresce because of the dietary needs of vliegeng. In all likelihood then, this is where the blonde stragglers from the Shrine attack last chapter retreated to.
But what are these carriages? I don't think they look either Aldish or Crescian... lot of birds interested in them though...
