Little things to notice: The tree with the ropes and bloody gashes. Mikaila's carefully averted gaze (rather like Ufal's carefully averted gaze in the last scene). The lack of eyes on the soldiers at the end. Mikaila knows she isn't safe here, and she should have kept up with Mason.

Ugh. The horrors of war and the evil that men do. Very upsetting. Duane would be beside himself if he knew where his little Wright had landed. And shame on Lem... for so many reasons!!
