For a brief moment I mistook last panel's carpet for yet another instance of a Certain Remembered Blue Coat intruding upon Duane's perception of reality – given the self-realization he just went through, that was a Bad Thing to see return indeed... but thankfully it only is the carpet. Not much else to be thankful about here though... *gently pats Pantoffel and Ruffles*
