Ch17 Script & Scribbles

As promised, here's the working script for Ch17 if you care to peruse it. It's not really coherent on its own, as it's ninety-five percent raw dialogue with very little description or stage direction, as it were. I figure all of that out in Photoshop as I lay out pages. There is some trimmed dialogue though, many things are worded differently, and if that's the kind of thing that interests you you can see how it all gets tweaked from the script to the final page.

Not too much concept art this time around. Most of what I'd want to show is too spoilery for upcoming chapter 18 (a whole heap of lions). But I did go off on a tangent of drawing preteen Emil with Pantoffel as a self-soothing exercise after Pant's death, so here's a whole page of that nonsense. Emil and Pantoffel grew up herding monnies - basically goats - on the Sava family ranch. The Savas are regionally famous for their cheese, and Pant was the latest in a long line of talented working hounds. She had two litters before she and Emil went off to war, so at least she's survived by a whole bunch of puppies.

Couple of request sketches too - Mikaila unable to sleep on the long ride home, and Iori and Lori Litriya meet a very dangerous young man one day who's travelled to the shrine to have his new job blessed~
