I think the amulet lets Sette talk to the ghosts in Duane's plod bod, and they follow her instructions. So I don't *think* this is going to have any effect on Duane's soul. Excited to find out though!

2024-01-27 18:15:51 +0000 UTCWait, khert ghosts things seem to listen to her and/or her amulet. Did she just wish upon the entire khert, where all future and past is, to be forever with Duane? That's uh... an event with possible Consequences if I read this all correctly. I know more than one story where such a wish is what put some cosmological forces into action.
