And we're back! I don't know that Duane's help was really needed, but the gesture is appreciated.

Thanks for being so patient over the last week. I know some readers kindly insist I don't need to worry about the comic when personal stuff strikes, but I don't want you guys to ever think I take you for granted, or that I don't feel responsibility towards you for contributing your time and money to this project - because I sincerely and profoundly do! Thank you for being here :)

Now let's see if we can find Queen Sonorie and Chea - and Ruckmearkha o_o

Murkoph can be funny when he's got all his pieces joined together. How kind of him to provide some help!

Madison

It's to do with a security feature. If you keep this in mind, it'll pay off for you by the end of the scene :)

Ashley

...is the implication that she can 'slip into something more comfortable', more quickly?

akrasia

What Duke said. "Etoi ni" is the Tainish name for the Aspect that defines the coefficient of friction, or slipperiness. The Queen's dress has this Aspect in abundance for whatever reason, and Duane's telling Elka she can use it to hunt her out.

Ashley

Excellent! I was wondering how you fared! :) FloridaStrong! *wanking motions*

Ashley

Not necessary! But I'm very happy to hear your mom made out okay! I hope we don't have another one of these frigging things for a while, they are just not as cute as they used to be.

Ashley

Yeah, I think it's just the tainish name for some pymaric components he tells Elka to track.

Duke BG

Not sure either, but I think it's something like ATC telling pilots to tune their radio to frequency XYZ - it would enable Elka to hear Duane directly? That, or being able to locate the queen (OK, technically her dress).

Rob N

Set your scrying to 'etoi ni'?

Andrew Judd

Welcome back! And thank you for being here too! I hope things are well with you, and if not that you should make your needs known. :P I'm sure I don't speak only for myself when I say we're here for you and we appreciate the time and effort you put in to not only create something incredible, both visually and narratively but to do so regularly for as long as you have, and still take time and to engage with us as a community. It is a rare and wonderful thing.

Mister Scarecrow

Shut up and take my money, Ashley! All joking aside, I couldn't think of a better story to contribute to. Glad you survived the storm!

Rifter

Welcome back Ashley! I'll echo everyone's sentiments with a glad you made out okay! My sister's house managed to come out unscathed as well, obviously it's still real bad but I'm very relieved it wasn't a lot worse. We only lost power up here for about 48 hours, I feel very fortunate. Good luck on getting everything back in order!

Stretch Andrews

Thats fine and good, but I am happy to be another weirdo throwing money at you! I've followed Unsounded since the first chapter dropped, I'm pretty sure I made my Patreon specifically to back it at first, and Unsounded has been a reliable and extremely enjoyable part of my weekly routine for years. The least I can do to show my appreciation for the parasocial relationship following it and you has afforded me, is offering a handful of dollary-doos. Plus, my mom had absolutely no damage to her house (save her trashcans getting knocked over and shed blown open - we will rebuild!) so I feel like the help I was expecting to give her may as well go to someone I know somewhat anyways.

Spider

Take your time, Duane, don't even worry about it, backup Sette is just getting things all neat and tidied up ready for you.

Luuuuuuu

A lot of people already generously threw money at me! I feel appropriately weird and guilty, haha. Just being a patron is already a huge help, Spider, thank you <3

Ashley

Semi-new. He did lick Elka's boot, once. But a cunting gentlemen would never reference such a thing and embarrass a lady~

Ashley

So happy that you got through the storm and are safe! You deserve all the pies for thinking about us during your trying times!

GracieV

I am elated to see you back, and I was glad to see that you had minimal damage to your home. Is there any way that I can send you some money for repairs? Not a whole lot, not enough to make you feel guilty I swear.

Spider

Glad to see you back! Also glad to see Murkoph is in a state of both being irritated at being asked to help but enjoying the opportunity to talk to new people.
