The twins could always feed themselves. Left to their own devices, they had Jac's fangs and little Sette's pointy teeth and slashing claws. The spiderpaws of the village and their leonine neighbours never forgot them though. Now and then, to supplement, the pair would find themselves surprised by offerings at certain forest shrines: baskets of fresh fish, a fat turkey, the season's best hedgeapples, grass eggs, mole fingers, and sweetcakes flavoured with honey and just enough softi to make the clouds dance. Offering days were great days. The twins would feast until the stars came out, then roar in unison at the moon.

Thanks for all the great requests last week! Sette and Jac were the easy winners. I'll draw up second place next week. It's goofy, hehe :3
