I will shuffle your query to where in narrative time it best belongs, but then it's entirely Duane's call if it goes to the recipient or not. If you're a shit to Matty? Duane won't deliver it. If you're a shit to Sette? He'll probably deliver it. Duane is the gatekeeper here, and is protective of his friends and charges.

Let's do Q&A on Monday in lieu of an illustration - I'm working on the site so I don't have much to share.

Notes:

--If you're not addressing Duane, make sure you name the character you're after at the start, eg "Hey Sette!" will do.

--You can get in good with Duane by dropping a "Ssael fhikemun rish!" at the end. ((this is so I know you're on Patreon and you're more likely to get an answer))

--Talk to the characters like you're another Kasslynian. The less you confuse or frustrate them, the more likely you'll be to get a response. Roleplay!

--Be very mindful of what you're asking. Duane does not yet know all that Sette learned in the khert, nor does Sette quite understand what's happening to him in captivity. The characters only know what they knew at the end of Unsounded; no one is omniscient, and going too meta is likely to not net you a response.

--Don't tell Quigley he dies, it'll just cheer him up.
