He also received a painful beating from Tempest which still must hurt a lot. And now the "annoying" filly hit him in the face. The way I interpret Rusty, he probably wants to beat her up just to vent some frustrations.

The second to last panel to be more specific. I don't know ... when I read the last three panels it somehow interrupts the flow of the dialogue for me. Could be because the focus of Lulu's dialogue shifts back and forth between her and Rusty ... If someone else is seeing the same thing maybe they can put it into words better than me ... or maybe I'm just going nuts^^
