Well, I kinda already missed my chance to voice my concerns about the previous page's dialogue, but the tone of this entire conversation feels really off. He just attacked her, then almost got her lover killed. If anything, she'd be busy convincing herself not to kick his ass back to last tuesday again. She knows he didn't mean for this to happen, so she tries hard to control her anger. Which in her case is already progress. But regardless of who started this chain of events, she'd be mad at him right now, not herself. Not openly at least. His approval of their relationship, something not even Thistle cared about to a large degree, is probably the last thing on her mind right now. And I think there's only one pone in front of whom she'd allow herself to show weakness like that. Maybe two, including Twi. But certainly not the guy who just almost blew her lovers face off. Bending every last bit of her personality around the message feels wrong. Also, talking to her so shortly after all this happened, regardless of who it is, would only serve as an invitation for her to vent, not to take responsibility for someone else's fuck up. Wouldn't something like this also work? "Look. At. Her. Are you satisfied now?" "Yes, it used the darkness in you that I have sown. That's why I told you not to toy around with black magic!!!" "You wanted to avenge your father, you wanted to pay me back for the pain I've caused ... but then you went and did the exact same thing you hate me for." "Well done, big brother. we have to hope that for Tempest, the traces of Rusty and Lullaby are not yet worn out with the snow. in general traces them in the snow it stays dry for a long time. on the other hand I would like to know how she will react when Fireweed admits that she is in the company of Rusty, she will probably stuck a thing on him.
