I still remember when this used to come on channel 11 - NBC all the time back in the 90's! Still I hate the fact that Samuel L Jackson's character in this movie got killed.

2025-06-28 19:05:06 +0000 UTCLOL I was hoping Mal would jump at that first raptor jump intro but she didn't but her stress during the kitchen scene and the rest of the movie made up for it xD I was still only 2 when the movie came out in theaters, but the VHS was released a couple days after my 4th birthday so my parents thought it was a good idea to let my 4 year old self and my 3 year old brother watch it when we were that small lmao. Still a classic, I still jump at that first raptor intro even though I always know it's about to happen.

2025-05-30 08:40:30 +0000 UTCI think the film is simply fantastic. And so are the sequels. In the first film, the dinosaurs were mostly animatronic. That means they were mechanically/electronically controlled to make them look real.
