TTT Vol. 2 pt. 3
Added 2021-07-08 04:09:45 +0000 UTCAfter me and Korova “milked” each other for a bit, I returned to the inn with fresh milk—from the beasts, not her—and eggs. Then, to my surprise, there was nothing for me to do. Everything was clean already, the inn was stocked up on everything that it needed, Lada was helping Granny in the kitchen, and there was nobody in the front to cater to.
Somehow… everything was done.
Was that because it was a slow day, or was I just getting really good at my job?
I almost couldn’t believe it, so I went around to doublecheck everything.
The plants were watered.
The trash was taken out.
The porch was swept and the inside was spotless.
There really was nothing for me to do.
So, since I had some free time, I asked if it was alright to go out and get a reading.
“Do what you want as long as you’re back here in thirty,” Granny answered.
The usuals began arriving in around thirty minutes for lunch, but that was more than enough time to go get a quick reading.
Lada stopped me before I could leave. “Can you tell Mirna I said hi?”
I nodded my upper half and gave Lada a salute.
“Thanks,” she said, giving me a little wave before returning to stirring the pot she was standing in front of.
Just hearing her say thanks and seeing her give me that little wave was enough to make my day instantly better.
I was about to enter Mirna’s and Dobrin’s place before I heard their voices right behind the entrance door.
“Hurry up,” Dobrin groaned out. “I—I can’t wait any longer.”
“Hey, that’s not what you’re supposed to say,” Mirna said before I heard something loud and wet sounding. It was a sound that Lada made me familiar with, albeit even more intense than how Lada did it. The only explanation I could think of was that she was using her mouth on Dobrin.
“Please… please, my queen,” Dobrin pleaded. “Please let me cum already.” And just like that, he at least confirmed it was something lewd.
“Good boy. My good, precious boy. Always acting so tough and grumpy around others, but then pleading for pleasure with such a pitiful voice when we’re alone. I wonder what they would think of you if they saw this side of you?”
“Don’t… don’t tease me like that. You know I’d never show this side to anybody but you.”
“Hehe, I know, but it’s still fun to think about how embarrassed and cute you would look.”
I probably shouldn’t have been listening in… but I needed a reading. If I went home without one, Granny would probably keep me busy for the rest of the day, and then I’d have to come back some other time where I had a free moment. So, waiting for them to finish to get a quick reading felt like my best option. Plus it sounded like they were close to done going by what Dobrin was asked for.
Also… it was kind of hot listening in on them. I was almost tempted to try and go to one of the windows to see if I could watch, but there was no way I could actually bring myself to do that. I had morals! I couldn’t just spy on other people having sex!
Listening, though? Well, I wasn’t really listening to them. All I was doing was waiting outside the door. There was nothing wrong with that. It just so happened that I could hear them while waiting but hearing them wasn’t my intention. My only intention was pure—to get a reading. Therefore, I wasn’t doing anything wrong.
That was when one of the other elderly men in the village walked by. He saw me standing next to the door, looked down at me, up at the door, back down at me, and then smirked with a nod before walking away.
I have a feeling that I’m not the only one around here who has heard them before. In which case… I wonder how many people know what Dobrin is like behind closed doors.
“Hmm, you know what I’m in the mood for?” Mirna asked. “Aside from your cum, anyways.”
“Wha-what?” Dobrin asked in return.
“I want to hear you praise me. Shower me in compliments and then I’ll give you what you want.”
Dobrin sighed. “You know you don’t have to do this for me just to get me to praise you, right? I’ll give you all the praise you could ever ask for whenever you want.”
“I… I know, but I feel selfish asking for it out of nowhere…”
“Then how about this? You’re beautiful, Mirna. I love everything about you. Your body, your mind, your soul—there isn’t one part of you that I don’t love from the depths of my soul. I would sooner fling myself into the endless sky than live a day without you.”
“That’s too morbid!”
“Hmph. Well, it’s true.”
“Geez… you shouldn’t say things like that, especially when you have something throbbing so much in front of my face.”
She has a point. Saying that you’d kill yourself if you had to live without somebody is kind of… weird. But you tried at least. Maybe I should try and say some smooth things to Lada and Korova sometime. Or well, write some smooth things. Just without any mentions of suicide.
Those lewd noises resumed and, before long, I heard Dobrin grunt out in pleasure right before Mirna made a surprised squeak of sorts. The way she mumbled while sounding like her mouth was even fuller than before made it obvious what was happening. At that point, I kind of felt bad, like maybe I really was listening in when I shouldn’t have been.
“Geez,” Mirna said, “what a naughty boy you are. Wanting to do this right by the door. What if somebody listened to us?”
“I don’t care,” Dobrin replied. “You know I can’t keep my hands off you when I get like that.”
“Well, gosh. Making me feel even more flustered than swallowing your love does. But… I guess it’s kind of exciting doing it like this where we have no idea if somebody might be listening. Maybe… maybe we should do it by a window sometime?”
“If—if that’s what you want.”
“Hehe, such a good boy, always doing what I want. I’m so lucky to have you.”
“I’m the lucky one if anything.”
“Gosh! How am I supposed to resist kissing you all over when you say things like that? Come here!”
“He-hey! Go brush your teeth first! Or at least drink some water!”
What came next was the sound of exaggerated kissing noises from Mirna and the sound of running away while knocking things over in a panic from Dobrin.
Chasing Dobrin led the two of them away from the entrance, so I waited a minute before opening the door and letting the bell notify them of my presence.
“O-oh! One moment, please!” Mirna shouted from the back.
Take your time, don’t worry. You young lovebirds.
I figured I could help them clean up a little while waiting. Though, all I really did was pick up a couple of jars that somehow didn’t break that were knocked over by Dobrin, and I placed all the herbs back into a box of them that got knocked over.
Then I noticed how dusty some of the shelves were. And the dirt under some of the shelves. And the insect beast sitting on a web in the corner.
Despite all of that, the room was pretty clean. Sure, there were a few dirty spots, but they still put some effort into keeping the place looking nice.
So… why did I feel so disgusted?
Granny… would kill everybody on this island and then herself if she ever let the inn get this dirty, and it’s not even that bad. Wait.
I understood after thinking that.
Working for Granny was turning me into a perfectionist of cleanliness. If there was even a single speck of dust somewhere then that was too dirty.
Oh no… I don’t want to become like her. I don’t want to get enraged over the tiniest bits of dirt! There’re way more important things to worry about in life than that!
Yet, I found it almost impossible not to look at those spots of dirt. There was an almost overwhelming urge to clean them, but I didn’t have anything needed to clean them.
Then I thought of the unthinkable.
If I get the dirt onto my tentacles and then dip them into my acid… it’s not like I’d taste it. As long as I bypass my tongues then it’s not like I’m really eating dirt, right? Wait.
I looked at the beast in the corner again.
I’ve been gaining new body parts from eating beasts, more or less. What if… what if I try eating it? I probably wouldn’t even have to kill it first. I could just lift it up and drop it in. But maybe I do have to kill it? I’ve never felt that hunter by looking at a living beast before. There’s also only one of them, so I’d rather play it safe and stick to what I’ve been doing. In that case, what do I want from it? It probably made that web it’s sitting on. If I could gain the ability to make webs… that could be useful. Extremely useful, actually. Alright. So, will killing and eating something so tiny actually have any effect on my body? Let’s find out.
The beast was no bigger than the size of an adult Chosen’s hand. Which, given how small I was, actually made it look pretty big. It probably could have wrapped its legs around my entire body if it tried to.
But it wasn’t going to get the chance to.
I positioned my tail tentacle with the bulb closed in front of the beast, moved it closer and closer… and then thrust it forward. While the bulb wasn’t as hard as the beast I inherited it from, it was still solid enough to smash my target and… create a green mess of guts against the wall behind it.
I ended up making the place even dirtier than it already was.
But more importantly, I felt hungry.
I picked up the beast’s corpse, opened up my body, and dropped it into the pit of acid. I made sure to keep my tongues away from it so that I wouldn’t have to taste it because it really didn’t look appetizing. I also figured that, if I could taste it, I would be eating it. As long as I didn’t taste it, I could mentally justify it as not really eating it and just absorbing it instead.
Eating an insect beast was disgusting.
Absorbing one, on the other tentacle, wasn’t.
Actually, maybe phrasing it as absorbing one rather than eating it made it sound even worse…
Regardless, my stomach acid made quick work of the beast which prompted that familiar feeling to return as something stuck out from the side of my body. That something kept on protruding farther out of my side until it looked like the beginning of a new tentacle growing. Though, it was shorter and thicker than the other tentacles… and when it began to develop its tip, it really grew wide. The tip took on the shape of the beast’s abdomen with spinnerets sticking out from the very end of it. Though, while the beast’s abdomen was covered in carapace with what looked like a few hairs here and there, mine just looked smooth and purple like the rest of my body.
“Sorry for the wait! How can I—ah, um, is anybody there?” Mirna asked.
I looked at the corner and saw the mess I made from squashing the beast with my tentacle. I didn’t want to make a mess, even without Granny’s influence, so I did what I could to clean it up.
And the most effective way of doing that was to wipe one of my tentacles across it to get it on my tentacle, close my eyes, and then dip said tentacle into my stomach acid.
I’m not some disgusting being who eats beast guts. All I did was dip it into acid to clean it. That’s right. I’m not gross.
I wanted to make sure the place was clean. That was all. I couldn’t stand the idea of being responsible for any amount of filth.
Maybe… maybe Granny did influence the decision to clean it up. At the very least, without her influence, I might have asked for a towel or something to wipe it up with instead of…
I am disgusting, aren’t I?
At least I cleaned up the mess I made. The beast’s web was still there with what looked like cocoons of other dead, insect beasts, but at least the mess I added to it was cleaned up.
And now I had another new tentacle. I would have to go and test that out after the reading.
For the time being, I raised one of my tentacles up to make it obvious I was in there and then went up to the counter.
“Oh! Tenta!” Mirna called out as soon as she saw me. “How’re you doing?” She looked so cute that it was hard to imagine her being responsible for those noises I heard just minutes before.
I’M DOING GOOD. THANKS.
“Glad to hear it! Ah, is that a new tentacle you grew? It looks different from the others?”
I was almost about to write down that I got it from the insect beast I just ate before realizing that it would probably be better to not go into specifics. But even then… everybody already knew that I changed depending on what I ate. Therefore, if they saw a tentacle clearly inspired by a body part belonging to an insect beast… it was going to be obvious where I got it from.
I mentally sighed and chose to be honest.
ATE THE INSECT BEAST IN THE CORNER OVER THERE.
“Oh no!” Mirna gasped. “I was keeping him as a pet… well, kind of. He killed the other tiny beasts that tried wandering inside. But, I suppose that’s alright. I’m sure it won’t be long before a new one moves in now that the territory is free. Dobrin used to kill them all the time before realizing that there was always a new one to take the last’s place.”
AH. I’M SORRY.
“No, no, it’s fine! Really! Anyways! Come for another reading?”
YES, PLEASE.
“Alright! You wait right there and I’ll go grab Dobrin for you.”
I nodded and, a few moments later, Mirna returned from the back where her arms looped around Dobrin’s arm.
Dobrin already looked annoyed as he glared down at me. “Granny must not be keeping you busy enough if you’ve got time to drop by here.”
Mirna smacked his arm. “Be nice!”
“Being nice won’t save time. If you’re here for a reading then get up here.”
I probably would have been smiling if I had lips. It was hard to take him seriously after hearing him before. He was acting all cute and romantic and needy just a few minutes ago, and now he was trying to put up a tough act to make up for it.
I saw right through him.
It was impossible to be intimidated by him after—
“You want a reading or not?!” he shouted at me.
I lifted myself up onto the counter right away.
Alright. Maybe he can still be a little intimidating.
