Weekly Update #167
Added 2021-08-09 12:20:24 +0000 UTCFirst off, sorry for the late chapters and lack of TTE and EDO chapters. I've had a stye under my upper left eyelid for 3... well, 4 I guess now, days, and it's been fucking up my sleep. It only hurts when I shut my eyes or blink, so it keeps on waking me up. And when I do wake up, it takes a while to go back to sleep because my eye is all red and agitated and takes about twenty minutes before it's done tearing up and hurting. Then by that point I'm awake enough to not be able to fall back asleep despite feeling exhausted, and just... blagh. I haven't felt rested for days now which isn't exactly productive for writing. I've been awake, but I just haven't had much mental energy for being creative.
That being said, I did write most of a TTE chapter. I'm going to go to sleep after posting this, sleep as much as my eye will let me, and hope that I've got enough energy in me later to finish this chapter today. I wanted to try and get both TTE and EDO done this past night, but I didn't even have it in me to finish the TTE chapter, and the next EDO chapter is important and requires me to have a much clearer mind for writing it than what I would have had.
And with that aside, this has been a great week otherwise. I reunited with a good friend of mine who I fell out of contact with around 5-6 years ago. I just randomly messaged an account on the website we both used to use to chat somebody up, and then... it turned out to be her. Didn't realize that we knew each other until after spending like 18 hours straight on a Discord call together, but yeah. Now we're dating. Pretty awesome. And she's probably reading this since she pledged to my Patreon. Unfortunately, that means I can't beg you all for help and ask you to free me from her basement.
Maybe I can communicate in secret code...

Anyways, to get back to being serious, I'm going to finish writing TTE later when I wake up and consider that the start of this week's chapters. Then I'll do EDO after that. Sorry again. It's just one thing after another lately. Depression, grandma and Alzheimer's, and now a stye destroying my sleep and mindbreaking me like a school girl captured by a tentacle monster. But the good news is that I've got a pretty strong feeling my mental health is going to have a serious upswing, so I've got that to look forward to.

11 hours, though I probably spent twice that actually trying to write, and 8,727 words. Logging these three days as sick days, though do they really count as sick days if I'm not actually taking them off and am just miserable instead? I probably shouldn't count them as sick days, but marking them as sick days makes me feel better about not being able to finish writing for the week.

I'm tired so these little updates for each story are going to be super short. Anyways, I had a lot of fun with that arc. Time to move on and wrap the volume up with another battle.

Thank you for attending my very lackluster weekly update. I just wanted to get this out so that I can go to bed without feeling like I still need to wrap up the week before finishing TTE later today.
Apologies once again for failing to deliver TTE and EDO this week, but they're coming out this week before anything else gets to. And hopefully this stye fucks off within the next 48 hours or so since it's already been a few days.
