Weekly Update #190

Fuck me, editing takes me so god damn long. It probably doesn't help that I'm a really slow reader in the first place, and editing requires me to read something very slowly and deliberately. Even reading a 140 page book in the beginning of the month took me an entire week to do, and that's without having to edit it. There are like, 440 pages to read for LDQ's second volume with editing thrown in.

Unfortunately, that means I won't be getting it finished on time to publish this month.

Fortunately, I'm done with the basic editing. All I have to do is go through it one more time to fix some formatting issues (mainly due to Window, such as fixing spacing and font colors), and then I just have to add the table of contents, and then it's ready to go! So, it should still be done by the end of the day. Then I just have to hope that there aren't any problems with getting it posted to Amazon, but I'm sure there will be since it's already been a web novel that can be found online and Amazon isn't a big fan of that.

At least I'll absolutely have it submitted to Amazon within the next 48 hours.

And while that might technically be late since I wanted it published by the end of the month, I still have to be proud of myself. Am I meeting all of my 2022 goals so far? Not at all. The strict schedule I set for myself has barely been followed, but that's alright, to me, because I'm still following half of it.

It's better to set high goals for myself and to only reach half of them than it is to reach none of them. That's my logic. Aim high and settle for anything above the floor, because as long as you go at least a tiny bit higher, that's still progress.

Still waking up at 6am every morning and going on a walk no matter how cold it might get outside, still on keto and eating healthy every day, losing weight, going to sleep at a good hour every night, increasing the amount of writing and editing I'm doing compared to last year, reading more than I was, etc. That's only like... half of what I wanted to do for myself,  but I'd still say that's all a pretty good improvement still.

Better to meet some goals rather than none!

I'm also maintaining a consistent posting schedule which I think is probably what people care about the most, so as long as I can keep it up, I'm happy = P.

Anyways, memes 'nd things:

i realized after posting that i didn't post any videos

i guess that makes me the shitpost this week

32 hours, 23,186 words. Much happier with the hours and word count this week, especially the word count.

The True Endgame

The last chapter hurt me to write as much as it hurt everybody else to read, and I'm torn on whether or not I should make it even more painful or if I should deliver some mercy.

Ero Dungeon Online

That was a very fun chapter to write, and I want to write more like it. Also, I realized I'm really happy with how Akorya has turned out in this series compared to how she was in the original EDE. EDO Akorya is leagues better than EDE Akorya, as far as I'm concerned.

Lazy Dragon Queen

Will this week be the week when Valkyria finally gets her human form? Maybe, maybe not! You'll find out!

Dominion Expansion

The lewds have happened. The floodgates have been opened. For once you lewd one waifu, all the waifus must be lewded.

In Closing

Thank you for all of your continued support like always! Since tomorrow is the first day of the new month, but I'm posting this today, I'll just go ahead and--well, yeah, thank you today and assume you'll still be here next week. So yeah. Thank you for your continued support! And if you're not here next week since it's the end of the month which is when people always get lost, then have a free thank you anyways!

Now then, time to finishing typing up DE.
