Weekly Update #191

LDQ's second volume and the preorder for the third volume has been uploaded to Amazon! Now just waiting on the second volume to get approved. I'll post a link to both the second volume and the third volume's preorder once the second volume is actually live, since right now only the third volume's preoder has been approved and I'm waiting on the second one to get approved.

Anyways, now that I've got that done with, I can really take my time with editing LDQ's third volume. I have the third volume slated to release on April 7th. Even if I only edit a single chapter a day, which takes no time at all really, I'll have more than twice the time I need to edit it in time. That means now I can turn the rest of that editing attention toward TTT to get it wrapped up.

First, I'm going to do a normal, straight-up edit of it. I'll read through it, edit it, and take some notes to help me flesh out my plans and to mark down everything that actually needs changed. Then once I've edited all the content that already exists, I'll start changing it and adding the new stuff. I should also have more than enough time to get that edited, rewritten, and ended as well since I want to get that published sometime during April as well.

That aside, I'm still doing great with sticking to my schedule, have lost a bunch of weight and am staying faithful to keto, and am just... already a lot prouder of myself than I basically ever have been. So, I would say that I'm doing pretty good for myself so far this year. Patreon is tanking, but hey, I'm happier than I've ever been and more motivated than ever, and I have full confidence in myself to turn things around when I really start focusing on that.

47 hours, 43,607 words. Fuck yeah. Most productive week in a long, long time. Got inspired for a lot of different things I started working on.

The True Endgame

I think this volume might end with this arc since it's already at about volume length now. Then, next volume, I swear, is going to be more plot and action focused. I'm pretty sure I said that about this volume, but there was too much good slice of life to write. So yeah. Next volume. More action. More plot. More drama, maybe.

New monster time, finally! We don't have a new monster yet, but we're about to! Probably. Hopefully. We'll see. Just kidding, it is going to happen, all while getting to see some Meadow and Akorya interactions since that's not really something we've ever had before.

Dominion Expansion

Ironically, rather than talk about DE itself, all I really have to say about it this week is that this latest chapter inspired me for a bunch of other stories instead. This is why I love to write a variety of stories as opposed to people who tell me I should only focus on one. The more stories I write, the more varying things I have to think about, the more inspiration I get for everything. Not to mention that it allows me to keep stories a bit more focused rather than trying to fit some idea I really like into something preexisting. But as for DE itself, well, it's DE. Not much to say about it other than that every single week of reading comments and reviews for it makes me lose faith in people's reading comprehension and their ability to have nuanced thoughts. Seriously, the amount of people who still think Clay is some racist bigot due to his sense of humor that sometimes pokes light fun at Europeans.

It makes me want to poke fun at European countries even more.

Mwahaha.
