Weekly Update #198

Whew, just two more weeks until the big 200!

Anyways, this is mega late, but at least DE is already done so I can post it right after this and email spam everybody. I was just editing LDQ for most of the day since I'll admit I fell a bit behind on that. Still on schedule, though. The only reason there might be a delay with publishing the third volume is waiting on the cover art, but Eros is going to try and make it so that I don't have to push the date back at all. Don't want to rush him, though, since it's entirely my fault for not consulting him first before setting the date for the preorder.

That was stupid of me. But hey, growing pains. Now I know I should actually consult with the cover artists first before setting a date for the preorders so I can be sure that the covers will be done on time.

Uhh, that aside, I binged the Realist Hero kingdom rebuild manga over the weekend. I forget the exact name, but "Realist Hero" should probably be enough for anybody who knows what I'm talking about. Anyways... god fucking damn what a 10/10 manga/story. Like, shit, it was good. Everything about it was great and I absolutely love the way the harem is done in it. 10/10 highly recommend for anybody who hasn't gotten around to checking it out before. But if you don't want to read it, then you could always wait for the new project I've started writing that is totally not a ripoff of it... assuming I actually continue it. Wrote like 7k words for it and am having a lot of fun with it so far, though. Spent most of my weekend working on it.

The True Endgame

Cassiel didn't want to be left out of the cast of characters who self-reflect on their lives, even if it was about something that makes her cringe just to think about. Other than that, I don't want the island arc here going beyond half the volume, so it should be wrapped up by like... the tenth chapter? That's the goal, anyways, but who knows what's going to happen! I mean, I do. Kind of. But I only know the end result, not how they get there nor how long it takes for them to get there.

Dominion Expansion

Troll battle tactics go brr. Though, I have to say that the most unrealistic part of last week's chapter is having accurate ranged attacks within a forest. That never works for me in Total War games. You try and shoot a bunch of arrows in a forest and they all just hit trees.
