Weekly Update #199
Added 2022-04-05 03:44:27 +0000 UTCAlrighty. So, I learned something. When you setup a preorder for something on Amazon, you're only allowed to push the date back by 30 days at most and you're only allowed to do it once. If you change the release date a second time, you get banned from setting up a preorder on Amazon for anything else for 1 year. Honestly, that's a good system. I like it. It's good for the consumer. Slightly worrisome for me, but it's fine. Anyways, the manuscript is good to go, but I still decided to push it back by as much as I could. So, the release date is the 7th of May now instead of the 7th of April. I mainly decided to do this so that I could make sure that there is enough time in case there are any issues with the manuscript getting approved, and then not wanting to rush my artist too much given that he has other commissions he still needs to finish. And it's 100% my mistake for not contacting him about the release date beforehand. Never doing that again. I'll always confirm release dates for preorders with my artists before setting them in the future.
So yeah. May 7th is when LDQ Volume 3 will be releasing for Amazon. Just want to make sure to give Eros as much time as I can for the cover. And when it comes to setting up the release date for the 4th volume, I'll make sure to ask him first when he'll be able to have the next cover done by.

The True Endgame
What's the best way to make sure that I don't fall into my usual habits of chapter after chapter of nothing but slice of life and random conversations?
It's by forcing the action to happen out of nowhere!
The characters can't banter like always if they suddenly get surprise attacked, after all.
Then again, I'm sure they'll find a way.
Ero Dungeon Online
I feel like everybody, or at least most people, have felt like Wally did in that last chapter at one point or another in life. I as well many times before. So even though it feels bad, I still wanted to give him some more character and depth other than just being that crafter guy who helps Damian out every now and then, and also sort of wanted to show how it feels when somebody is basically treated like that. Even if Damian never intended to come off that way, let's face it, he only ever went to Wally when he needed something. Even if somebody's intents aren't to treat somebody that way, it can be hard for the person on the other end to not see it like that.

Lazy Dragon Queen
And then there's LDQ which is just pure random bullshittery and happy feels. Well, I say that, but this little conflict here has actually been planned for a while now, as are the future events related to this plot line. But for now, we'll be going back to Val to wrap up her first little arc here!
Dominion Expansion
Troll tactics go brrr. I would hate my opponent if I had to go up against either the Viking Elves or Clay in that last battle. Then again, I'm probably not one to speak considering I love the good ol' tactic of sitting in the corner of a map with long-range artillery and tanky units to protect said artillery. But I'd still rather go up against a turtle than somebody annoying like Clay or the Viking Elves.
In Closing
It's a new month, this is super late in the day, and the DE chapter is done and needs posting, so I'm gonna post this and then post that.
Thank you for your continued support, especially since it's a new month! But unfortunately, I still have to do my taxes. All the money I'm about to pay out to myself from Patreon is about to go right into the hands of the gubmint. That feels even more bad than Wally's situation.
Anyways, seriously, thank you again, and next update is the big #200!
