Weekly Update #201 (Easter Break Edition)

I meant to type this up during the weekend but then the weekend flashed by in an instant and then I slept a ton. So yeah. Anyways, like every year, I'm taking this week off due to it being Easter week. Honestly, it came at the perfect time, too. Last week--fuck, last week was rough on my hands. I've gone like 4 months now without having any of my hand issues flare up, but it was bad last week. By the time it came to write TTE, I couldn't write for more than 10 minutes at a time without having to take a break to let my hands recover from how much pain they were in. Yay for having nerve issues in both my hands all because I had to scoop ice cream that was too hard for a part-time job over a decade ago.

Fortunately, my hands are already feeling better for the most part, but I'm going to take advantage of this week to give them a good rest. It kind of sucks at the same time, though, since I started working on a couple of series that I was really getting into and having fun with, but writing as much as I did for those on top of the usual weekly stories was probably what did my hands in.

Anyways, Easter was nice and I hope that everybody else had a nice weekend!

In other news, our AC is broke. Again. Not only is it broke again, but it's fucked up the ceiling of our downstairs neighbors. Again. Yay. Well, at least it's the landlord who is going to have to pay them for this and not us. Of course, that also means the landlord is probably going to raise our rent again since they raise it every single time something goes wrong.

The True Endgame

Despite how it may have seemed with this island arc appearing to be rather random and irrelevant to the plot, I believe that this latest chapter has most certainly tied it into the main, overall plot of the series. 

I'm also realizing lately that I just really, really, really love stories that deal with artificial intelligence.

Now--now it's time to fuck a dragon. But not literally now. That's for next week "now" since this week's "now" is taking a break. But yeah. Dragon fucking time. Actual dragon fucking time, too, not just some dragon girl.

I like when enemies respect and hate each other at the same time, in case that isn't obvious. Frenemies. Hostile broship. That sort of stuff. I need to write more frenemies into my stories.

In Closing

Just sitting down to type all of this weekly update has proven that, apparently, my hands are not completely better yet, so I'm going to go ahead and be lazy with my hands for the rest of the week.
