Added 2022-08-05 17:59:58 +0000 UTCLets you disable the rotation of the floating UI menu so that it appears more like a flat surface, no matter how your hands are tilted or whether you look up and down, see the attached video to see what it does, as it is difficult to explain.
You can enable or disable the restriction of the UI menu in the Session Plugins menu "No VR Hud Rotation":
Disable Rotation: Tilt: the UI menu does not lean left or right when you rotate your wrist to the left and right
Disable Rotation: Horizontal: Recommended to leave off. The UI menu does not move / rotate left or right around your current position in VR space
Disable Rotation: Vertical: when you look up or down, the UI menu will not "look down" on you, but will remain a flat surface, parallel to your upright standing position

Not sure, which VaMX UI you are referring to? This plugin only affects the main UI that is shown in the video. That one does not change position though, it always stays at the same distance relative to you (only the angle changes based on how you hold your controllers in vanilla). I was thinking about adding an option to change to distance though, that would be a nice feature.

2022-12-15 15:20:34 +0000 UTC@BRS: You can install this plugin also if you're using both the Desktop mode and the VR mode. Using this plugin, the Desktop mode still works fine and you have the regular 2D menu as usual and the plugin will not change anything. The change will only affect the VR mode. If you don't use VR at all, then it makes no sense to install this plugin, though.
