Rife-App 2.10

Those two new options are very experimental, the default values are the same the older versions use.

Data Precision should be fine on "Normal" for most interpolations, but if you are using 10bit video as input, you will want to put the codec on H265 and Data Precision on High might improve the result a bit.

You most likely will also want to turn on YUV to keep the colors close to the original.

Data Precision is the way the data is handled internally, since 10bit input require more information, High must help a little to keep this information. There is really no need for Data Precision: Maximum, but I left as a option in case someone to do some tests.

Data Precision use a little more Vram the higher it is, but not that much.

Thanks for the tests and feedback. To improve the YUV I might need to train the model again, this can take some time.

Did some tests with YUV enabled. It resolved minor issues with gradients, especially with pixel graphics (there's still some minor color shift if I use default settings), so that's great. Pairing it with normal data precision caused minor "strobe-like" effect on backgroung, but above normal and high settings seems to be fine.

This should not happen, it may be something with the input codec. If this is a public video, mind sharing a link so I can download it? So I can try to fix the problem.

When I select H265 using my RTX 2060 the process just hangs at Analyzing FPS. This is using the 3.8 model. Is this a known issue? H264 works fine.

Hi there, here is fine to ask questions, or you can send me a PM here on Patreon or in Discord. Can you try to put "Data precision" to high and see if it fix it? If not, I may need to get a sample of the file so I can debug it.

Hello Grisk, new patreon here. Sorry for the duplicate on discord, not sure where to best ask for support. I am looking to increase GoPro Max Cineform 5276x2688 footage of 29.97fps to 59.94fps with Model 3.1 setting "export png sequence". GPU of my 1080Ti does not even go above 3%, but every second png has big missing fields of black squares in it. What is my error? Any help is welcome. Pasted my settings into discord support channel.

It should work on all of then, unless I messed something up. Only 3.8 can create some sub-par interpolations with YUV for now.

GRisk

which model can use yuv and H265 + Data Precision High?
