I took 1,000 photos with the S25 Ultra (ad-free)

Since receiving my S25 Ultra review unit on January 22nd, I have been snapping photos of just about everything in sight to truly test out the phone's camera system. And with the S25 Ultra, much like the S24 Ultra, I was quickly reminded just how damn good its camera system is. Unlike the face-brightening woes of the Pixel 9 Pro or the disappointing implementation of the Camera Control button on the iPhone 16 Pro, the S25 Ultra just worked really well through my entire test. Not to mention, I loved using it for typical phone stuff, like doom-scrolling or binging YouTube, because of its large, anti-reflective screen.

Simply put, it's an excellent phone despite Samsung removing S-Pen features and loading it with AI bloatware. However, this sameness has sent the tech reviews community into a spiral, as they endlessly complain about how "boring" this phone is.

But I think we viewers could say the same about tech YouTube. Much like Samsung and the S-series of phones, we have seemingly reached a creative plateau. Every time an embargo for a product drops, I watch every video that I can and count how many folks are just sitting at a desk reading specs with the occasional pretty broll shot. Spoiler: it's 98% of videos. And it has become my sort of battle cry to not be like everyone else. To step outside ;) the tech YouTube comfort zone.

So, in my next video, a review of the Bee AI Pin, I have vowed to myself that I am going to give folks a bit more about me as I did in the iPod Nano video. Because the way I see it, if the story of tech is getting boring, then the story of me has a big opportunity to start taking more space.

Oh, and also, I want to host some of the photos from the above review online for folks to look at. Does anyone have a recommendation for a photo hosting site where I can create folders? I'm leaning toward Adobe Creative Cloud.
