Adult content patch for v0.50 public update
Added 2025-09-30 11:32:02 +0000 UTCInstruction for adult patch installation for public builds:
Download the patch file from this post, unpack the archive and open the folder with the file nsfw_archive.rpa
Open the folder with Dawn Chorus, copy the patch into the folder game (not the main folder, but the one that also has a file archive.rpa)
Start Dawn Chorus and toggle adult content in Preferences on. Done!
In case of Android builds, there is no adult content patch. Instead, download and install the apk file from this post.

A word of explanation:
Starting with v0.50, public builds of Dawn Chorus no longer will feature adult content - instead, the adult content is available as a patch. Android builds does not have a patch; instead, patched adult versions will also be hosted on Patreon.
We've made the change partially because of itch.io's current policies that penalise NSFW content by making it both harder to access and unable to accept donations, but also partially to make it easier for you to share the project with others if you choose to.
Nothing changes for our patrons. You don't have to do anything or download any patches. Your builds stay the same, and the change only applies to public versions of the updates.

That sounds like one of your files might have gotten corrupted. Try downloading a fresh version of the game
